(Additional, more granular options live in&nbsp;<strong>Additional Order Settings<\/strong>&nbsp;below.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enable Order Sync<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Master toggle to sync orders from Shopify to Odoo. When off, all order settings reset to defaults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bulk Sync Notice:<\/strong>&nbsp;For best performance, sync up to ~300 orders per bulk update at a time. There is no restriction on daily order sync volume \u2014 this applies only to bulk actions.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enable Invoice Sync Only&nbsp;<em>(new)<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sync Shopify orders to Odoo as&nbsp;<strong>customer invoices only<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 no sale order is created. Orders are still received from Shopify, but only the invoice is generated in Odoo. This option is&nbsp;<strong>mutually exclusive<\/strong>&nbsp;with Enable Order Sync.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important:<\/strong>&nbsp;because no sale order is created, inventory is&nbsp;<strong>not<\/strong>&nbsp;reduced, deliveries are&nbsp;<strong>not<\/strong>&nbsp;generated, and these orders do not appear in Odoo Sales reports. Refunds still sync as credit notes against the invoice. On the Dashboard these orders show an&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Invoice only&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;badge (or&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Invoice pending&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;while waiting for the order to match your invoice policy \u2014 e.g. until it is paid).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Order Numbering<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Set Odoo order number same as Shopify order number<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 keep numbering consistent across systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Remove Shopify order prefix\/suffix when syncing to Odoo<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 strip prefixes\/suffixes (requires the option above).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Invoice Export<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enable&nbsp;<strong>Export Invoice<\/strong>&nbsp;to create Odoo invoices for Shopify orders, then choose&nbsp;<strong>Create Invoice for<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>All Orders<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paid Orders Only<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fulfilled Orders Only<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(new)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mark Invoice as Paid \/ In Payment<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enable to set invoice status in Odoo. Choose one of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mark as Paid \u2014 All Orders<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mark as Paid \u2014 Shopify&#8217;s Paid Orders Only<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mark as In Payment \u2014 All Orders<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mark as In Payment \u2014 Paid Orders Only<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Activate Payment Creation<\/strong>&nbsp;(checkbox) \u2014 create a payment record in Odoo and auto-reconcile it with the invoice using the selected journal. Successful reconciliation depends on your Odoo journal\/payment configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Journal selection:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Single journal<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 pick one\u00a0<strong>Odoo Journal<\/strong>\u00a0for payments, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Company-wise Journal Mapping<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(new)<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 when multi-company is enabled, map each\u00a0<strong>Odoo company \u2192 payment journal<\/strong>\u00a0in a table.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Refund Sync<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two mutually exclusive options depending on whether invoice export is on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Enable Refund Order Sync<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(shown when Export Invoice is ON)<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 creates a\u00a0<strong>credit note<\/strong>\u00a0in Odoo and, if &#8220;Restock&#8221; is chosen in Shopify, restocks inventory in Odoo. The return\/restock in Odoo is created only after\u00a0<strong>both<\/strong>\u00a0a Shopify Return and Refund are completed, and the return picking must be\u00a0<strong>validated manually in Odoo<\/strong>\u00a0to finalize the restocking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enable Restock On Odoo for Refund Order Sync<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(shown when Export Invoice is OFF)<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 restocks refunded items in Odoo\u00a0<strong>without<\/strong>\u00a0creating a credit note.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Order Status Sync (Bidirectional)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enable&nbsp;<strong>Order Status Sync<\/strong>&nbsp;to configure status flow in both directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Odoo \u2192 Shopify<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 each status has three modes:&nbsp;<strong>Off<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Hourly (cron)<\/strong>, or&nbsp;<strong>Real-time (webhook)<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>(new)<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fulfillment status<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 push Odoo fulfillment to Shopify.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Payment status<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 requires\u00a0<strong>Export Invoice<\/strong>; not available when &#8220;Mark Invoice as Paid&#8221; is enabled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cancel status<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 push Odoo cancellations to Shopify.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Refund status<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(new)<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 push Odoo\u00a0<strong>credit notes<\/strong>\u00a0to Shopify as refunds on an hourly schedule. Supports\u00a0<strong>full and partial<\/strong>\u00a0refunds. (Real-time mode is not available for refunds.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Real-time (webhook) status updates depend on your Odoo version\/setup (usually Odoo 18+).&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/calendly.com\/techmarbles\/shopify-odoo-support\">Schedule a call<\/a>&nbsp;to enable them.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Shopify \u2192 Odoo<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 fulfillment and cancel sync are&nbsp;<strong>on by default<\/strong>. You can disable them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Disable Order Fulfillment Sync from (Shopify \u2192 Odoo)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Disable Order Cancel Status Sync from (Shopify \u2192 Odoo)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Manual:<\/strong>&nbsp;Use&nbsp;<strong>Sync Order Status From Odoo \u2192 Shopify<\/strong>&nbsp;to run a one-time status sync (requires at least one Odoo \u2192 Shopify status enabled).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comprehensive Order Editing&nbsp;<em>(new)<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enable&nbsp;<strong>Comprehensive Order Editing<\/strong>&nbsp;to sync&nbsp;<strong>all<\/strong>&nbsp;order updates from Shopify to Odoo \u2014 quantity changes, added\/removed items, discounts, shipping-line changes, tags, and notes. Applies only to&nbsp;<strong>unfulfilled or partially fulfilled<\/strong>&nbsp;orders and requires Odoo to support order edits. After editing an order, wait at least ~2 minutes before editing again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Editable Order States<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 choose which Odoo states allow edits:\u00a0<strong>Draft (Quotation)<\/strong>\u00a0(the default) and\/or\u00a0<strong>Sale (Confirmed)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Invoice Handling<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0<strong>Skip Invoice Updates<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Update Existing Invoice<\/strong>\u00a0(the latter only when &#8220;Mark Invoice as Paid&#8221; is off; invoices can only be updated if Posted and not yet paid\/in-payment).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Draft orders and invoices:<\/strong>&nbsp;Odoo cannot invoice a draft quotation. If your Order Creation State is&nbsp;<strong>Draft (Quotation)<\/strong>, the app will not create invoices for those orders \u2014 switch to Confirmed (Sale Order), or invoice manually in Odoo (a warning banner reminds you of this).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Controls order sync, invoicing, payments, refunds, status sync, and order editing.
