Testing and Automation

After configuring all order sync settings, we recommend placing a test order on Shopify. This order will automatically sync to ERPNext with a “Draft” status.

Our app features a background cron job that runs every 30 minutes. This job automatically checks for order updates on Shopify and updates the corresponding orders in ERPNext based on their latest Shopify status.

• If an order is fulfilled on Shopify, its status will be updated in ERPNext during the next sync cycle and if  the order is paid, ERPNext will automatically generate a Sales Invoice, Payment Entry, and Delivery Note, then mark the order as “Completed.”

All synchronization events and updates are meticulously recorded in the Order Logs section of the app, making monitoring and troubleshooting straightforward.
